"Geistlich + YOU": right in the middle instead of just participating

6,120 clinical professionals from 92 countries are on the pulse of regenerative dentistry with "Geistlich + YOU". With offerings such as "It's YOUR turn now", they take advantage of the interactive opportunities for exchange and continuing education. In addition, 950 participants immerse themselves in the Geistlich vLab™ hands-on workshop on the L-Shape technique and train on the model.

This year's "Geistlich + YOU" online congress was moderated by Rony Jung. He guided participants with his wealth of experience through "Key aspects for successful guided bone regeneration (GBR)", "Treatment of peri-implantitis", "Tips and tricks in soft tissue regeneration". A live stream made Daniel Buser's lecture accessible via Facebook.

Virtual, focused and globally accessible

Rony Jung is convinced and sums up: "We continue to make history in modern dental education!" In addition to the internationally renowned speakers, the undisputed highlight was the virtual hands-on workshop. What seemed unthinkable until a few years ago, Geistlich has shaped into probably the largest dental workshop Geistlich vLab™. Under the expert guidance of PD Dr. med. dent. Nadja Nänni (Switzerland), the participants were introduced to the L-Shape technique, which they then immediately practiced themselves. This was made possible by the workshop kit that everyone received in advance.

Right in the heart of the action with "It's YOUR turn now

The list of internationally renowned experts in regenerative dentistry who were speakers at the congress is long. It ranges from Stephen Chen, Isabella Rocchietta and Franck Renouard to Istvan Urban, Daniel Buser, Anton Sculean, Jae-Kook Cha, to name a few. In addition, "Geistlich & YOU" always offered its platform to international up-and-coming speakers. Multiple short sessions titled "It's YOUR turn now" offered participants the opportunity to have previously submitted questions answered by regeneration experts. The two protagonists, Isabella Rocchietta and Istvan Urban, each posed a question, which the audience voted on in a multiple-choice process. For example, the question: "What can I do in the unpleasant case of premature membrane exposure? This was followed by an apt answer and a discussion on the topic. Mirko Zingg: "Geistlich would like to thank everyone for the great response and hopes to have made a contribution to the teaching of regenerative competence."
