The foundation stone for the "888plus" extension building has been laid, with completion planned by February 2019. The building, designed over three floors and covering a surface area of 2194 m2, boasts a flexible building concept with separate production areas.
Geistlich Pharma is investing further in its Switzerland location and strengthening its areas of Strategy, Research & Development, and Production "under one roof" - at its Wolhusen site. The main reasons for the decision to invest here include the access to qualified professionals, the close proximity to leading Swiss universities for dentistry, and the cooperation with Lucerne University of Applied Sciences and Arts. The company enjoys a presence in around 100 countries, of which the markets of Germany, China, the USA and Brazil are currently the most important. Geistlich Pharma has ten affiliate companies worldwide and a distributor network of 60 partners.
