AMIC® Arthroscopic Instruments

Simple | Standardized | Precise

The AMIC® Arthroscopic Instruments

facilitate the precise and efficient insertion of the Chondro-Gide® membrane in cartilage lesions of the medial and lateral femoral condyle between 1.5 and 2.5 cm2.

Benefits:

  • Perpendicular cartilage shoulders thanks to calibrated cartilage punch
  • Standardized bone marrow stimulation of your choice
  • Precisely fitting membrane for the stabilization of the coagulate
  • Easy insertion and fixation of the Chondro-Gide® membrane
  • Additional biologization possible (Minced Cartilage, PRP,...)

Due to decreased morbidity and shorter rehabilitation time, arthroscopic techniques are the preferred approach for small and middle-sized cartilage lesions by many surgeons.1

The arthroscopic technique for the AMIC® Chondro-Gide® in the knee joint with overlapping patches has been described by Piontek et al. 2012.2
